DAILY ACTIVITY (ENGLISH VERSION)
DAILY ACTIVITY 2
assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabaraktuh
On the second day I practice this week, and my second post in daily activity, I will tell you what I do today. Today is the first day we serve food to be served to the restaurant. according with that has been prepared yesterday is american breakfast. Yesterday we prepared various kinds of bread such as softroll, hardroll, twist bread, croissant, and danish. And today we have to go in and start practice at 7:00. And the supervisor was incharge on today is kak agung, kak putra, and kak hana. There are 3 supervisor on today same like tomorrow.
Today I came to the kitchen a bit late, luckily when I arrived we have not "one line". At 07.15 we were one line and as usual, seniors checked attendance and grooming. After checking attendance and grooming the next is checking utensil. After that, we go into the kitchen then one line back to pray and hear directions from seniors. Because chef dino come late, so we prepare first so that when chef dino come he just check what is the minus and lead us to complete it. When the dino chef comes we are ready in each section.
Section divided on there section, the section namely: food checker, american breakfast, and juice section. On this day my group got a job in the juice section. After we were told watermelon juice that will be served today, we immediately prepare the ingredients. Then, watermelon we peeled and cut, then we serve so that when there is order will be easier. Next, we took the glasses at the restaurant to serve the juice. The first chef dino show to us how to make watermelon juice, and he show to us how to give the garnish to the juice.
At 10.00 the restaurant opened. Section food checker has received the order and immediately announced to us the order. One by one the order has been completed we finish until finally at 11.30 the restaurant is closed. And finally we finished serving the dish. At that moment chef dino ask us for general cleaning, After general cleaning we return oneline to be directed prepare english breakfast tomorrow. My group get a job to prepare english muffin.
Prepare finished at 16.30, at the same time we immediately do the general cleaning again to make sure the cleanness of the kitchen after we use. We were oneline to get ready to go home.
That's my kitchen activities today, today is quite tiring, we do 2 times the general cleaning, not as usual, we also do not have time to rest. And at 6:15 pm we went home. as always I will post recipes of english muffin and watermelon juice on separate blog pages in my spare time. stay tune for update guys. thank you.
