VARIOUS KINDS OF SALAD

1. Kinilaw - Philippines

   The one salad is one of the oldest snacks in the Philippines. Named kinilaw because of how to cook it using kinilaw technique, which is tuna fish ripening technique by soaking it in vinegar and lime solution. In addition to tuna as the main ingredient, kinilaw usually uses other ingredients such as cucumber, young papaya, coconut roasted, and banana heart.

2. Goi cuon - Vietnam

 
   Consisting of boiled shrimp and vegetables such as carrots and coriander wrapped in thin spring rolls, this Vietnamese salad does look special. Usually, this one snack is served with a sauce made from fish sauce, chili, and garlic. Can also use peanut sauce as cocolan in order to taste more rich.

3. Yam mamuang - Thailand

 
   The som tam salad is more widely known in Thailand, but the salad menu called yam mamuang is actually not less delicious. If som tang using young papaya as the base material, yam mamuang use roughly shredded young mango. The selected mangoes are also not too hard. A little more mature but still sour.

4. Horenso no gomma - Japan

    
   Made from horenso or boiled spinach which is a typical Japanese cuisine. Horenso is then mixed with goma sauce made from sesame, soy sauce, vinegar, and miso. Saos goma itself is usually used as cocolan when eating shabu-shabu. Usually, this salad is served as a companion of rice, miso soup, and other vegetables.

5. Bon-bon chicken salad - Chinese


   Salads of this type are usually served in almost all Chinese restaurants. As an opening menu, this salad consists of boiled chicken chicken meat, noodles made from green beans and sheets, and cucumbers. Meanwhile, the sauce itself is made of sesame paste with peanut oil flavored with peanuts and ginger.

6. Mooli lechha - India

 
   This typical Indian snack is made from red radish shaved. In addition, also added chopped tomatoes and green chili. For the seasoning alone use only salt and cloves. As for the fresh taste, this salad is also usually added a feeling of lime juice and ginger.

7. Urap - Indonesia



   The most special of course salad from home country itself. The word "urap" itself is actually a way of cooking or mixing food, but then it is better known as the name of the food.   The variant of urap can vary in every city. There is a mixture of different types of vegetables with spiced grated coconut. But some are making it thick with a sweet taste. Besides urap, Indonesia also has other snacks such as karedok, pickles, until rujak fruit.

8. Caesar salad - American

 
   Caesar salad is a dish of lettuce and small cut toast, and added parmesan cheese, lemon juice, olive oil, eggs, worcestershire sauce, garlic, and black pepper.
   
Unlike the beliefs of many people, the naming of this salad has nothing to do with Julius Caesar. This sadad was created by Caesar Cardini, an owner of an Italian immigrant restaurant that opened restaurants in Mexico and the United States. Cardini lives in San Diego but works in Tijuana to avoid the US ban. His son, Rosa (1928-2003), remembered his father first discovered this salad during the independence of the United States July 7, 1924 that made the materials in the kitchen run out. Cardini is trying to make whatever he can, then creating this salad. "Some Cardini employees claim to be the inventors of the recipe.

9. Gado - gado - Indonesia


    Food consisting of various kinds of raw and boiled vegetables, plus slices of tofu and tempeh there are also added fried noodles and capcay flour, boiled eggs then sprinkled with tasty peanut spice then eaten with a small shrimp crackers. This food can be found in the whole island of Java.

10. Chicken salad - American

 
   Chicken Salad (English: chicken salad) is a salad dish with chicken meat as the main ingredient. Other common ingredients include mayonnaise, boiled eggs, celery, onion, pepper, pickles (or pickles) and various mustards.
   
In the United States, "chicken salad" refers to a salad or chicken, or a particular mixed salad consisting mainly of minced chicken and spreads, such as mayonnaise or salad dressing. Such as tuna salad and egg salad, can be served on lettuce, tomato, avocado, or some other combination. It can also be used for sandwiches. Usually made with leftover chicken or canned chicken meat. This may also refer to a salad garden with fried chicken, grilled chicken, or grilled chicken (usually cut or diced) on top of it.
   
American-style chicken salad was first served by Town Meats in Wakefield, Rhode Island, in 1863. The original owner, Liam Gray, mixed the rest of the seashells with mayonnaise, tarragon, and grapes. This became a very popular food so the meat market
converted into a food / delicatessen shop.
